Sunkist In The Zone At AG & SR Champs
Congrats to Sunkist swimmers participating in end of season zone champs meets: Eien McGee, Jack Smithson, Ralph Moore, Marlan McElroy, Anthony Santangelo and Kate Murphy.
At Age Group Zones, Jack Smithson led Team Mississippi with most points scored of all Mississippi Swimmers and broke the LC state record in the 200 fly with a 2:13.00 to take bronze!
At SZ Sr Champs, Kate Murphy medaled in 4 events and scored 14th most points of all girls in the meet with a limited program and several new personal best times. Marlan McElroy finaled in the 50 free and shined also in the 100 fly as did Anthony Santangelo with a 3 second cut for a best time.
Zone championships are great meets for our faster swimmers and offers an opportunity to swim against the top swimmers in the Southern Zone. Sunkkst looks forward to qualifying more swimmers to these fast meets!!
