Sunkist Feasts At Cranberry

Sunkist feasts on fast swims at the BSL Cranberry Classic held in Birmingham at the new Crossplex natatorium.  Birmingham Swim League hosted its largest meet in history with over 600 swimmers participating from all over the southeast.  Sunkist swimmers posted lots of best times, new state times, team records and added a few sectional cuts with many impressive swims over the weekend.

RESULTS

New Sectional Cuts Achieved:

Chikashi Kano – 100 fly, 400 IM, 200 fly, 100 back, 200 back, 200 IM

Jessica Blanchard – 200 breast

Bravo to team record breakers:

Michael Robinson – 8&under 50 fly (36.93)

Eien McGee – 13-14 50 free (22.35), 100 free (49.32)

Congrats also to Eien recording two national #1 swims in the 50 and 100 free, two national Top 5 swims in the 100 back and 100 fly, and two national Top 10 swims in the 200 free and 200 IM.
