Sunkist Top Ten AG Sectionals
Sunkist reaches Top 10 at ESSZ Age Group Sectionals! A team high 19 swimmers competed at the regional qualifier meet held in Atlanta, GA, against the top 14 & under swimmers from the Eastern Section of the Southern Zone of USA Swimming. Sunkist finished 10th place out of 89 teams, the team’s first Top Ten finish, having finished 21st the previous year. Sunkist swimmers broke 7 state records and won 1 high point.
Congrats to podium medalists Natalie Cox (3rd 50 breast, 5th 100 breast), Noah Derrick (6th 100 fly, 7th 50 fly, 7th 100 breast), Eien McGee (3rd 50 free, 3rd 100 free, 3rd 200 free, 4th 100 fly, 5th 100 back) and Jack Smithson (1st 200 fly, 2nd 100 fly, 3rd 200 back, 5th 200 free, 5th 200 IM,9th 1000 free, 10th 400 IM).
