Sunkist swimmers were rising and shining all weekend at Short Course State in Biloxi. Projected to finish in 4th place, Sunkist rallied up the board to finish in 3rd. Makos and BEST were battled all meet and when the waves settled Makos came out on top by a slim margin to take the victory over BEST. Sunkist swimmers were honored at the Mississippi Swimming Top 5 Banquet held November 4th at the Hilton Jackson. The annual LSC awards banquet honors swimmers across the state for their achievements of the year. Attendees of this year's banquet were treated to an inspirational speech by Olympic legend Rebecca Soni.
