Congrats to Sunkist swimmer Jessica Blanchard selected as the girls MS Preps Swimmer of the Year! The annual MS Preps banquet recognizes the most outstanding high school athletes in each sport. Spirited swims in Mobile at the CMSA Spirit Invitational set the tone for early season long course competition. Lily Sammons led the charge breaking numerous team records and a state record in the 8&under 200 IM! Sunkist swimmers were honored in Vicksburg on September 6 at the annual Mississippi Swimming Top 5 Awards Banquet and treated to an inspiring speech by Olympian Jason Lezak. Swimmers from across the state were recognized for their achievements over the past year. Over 40 swimmers swimming for Sunkist last year received Top 5 awards in multiple events and four swimmers were honored as Most Outstanding Swimmer for their age group.
